How Ayurvastra works?
As we all know Skin is the largest organ in our body and it acts as a protective barrier and as a conduit for the outside substances to enter the body. The skin may
absorb environmental toxins and chemicals from conventional clothing. In the same way it has the ability to absorb medicinal powers of herbs found in natural dyes. Each fabric is infused with specific natural herbs that can help to treat diabetes, arthritis, blood pressure, rheumatism skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Certain fabric also contain antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties.
Healing mode of action
The most effective time to wear Ayurvastra clothing is when the body is at rest, such as during sleep, relaxation or meditation, because this is when the body is naturally healing and re-establishing balance. This is why ayurvastra is often used for sleepwear, yoga mats, bed sheets, towels and meditation cloths.
